Last week, on February 13th, FBMA Singapore transformed Paradox Singapore Merchant Court into a vibrant gathering place for its Annual Lunar New Year Lou Hei Dinneran event that seamlessly blended cultural heritage with forward-thinking industry collaboration.

This exclusive evening, dedicated to ushering in the Year of the Snake, welcomed an outstanding assembly of F&B professionals, hotel general managers, hospitality entrepreneurs, trade suppliers, and government representatives—all united in their dedication to elevating Singapore’s dynamic food and beverage industry.

The night commenced with the much-anticipated Lou Hei ceremony, a time-honored ritual symbolising abundance, harmony, and new beginnings. As members gathered to toss their yu sheng, each joyous cheer resonated with aspirations for prosperity, success, and industry-wide growth in the coming year. This spirited tradition, deeply embedded in Singapore’s culinary culture, served as a fitting prologue to an evening of meaningful connections and shared aspirations.

The elegant setting—accented with festive décor, ambient lighting, and an air of optimism—paid homage to both the heritage of the Lunar New Year and the innovative spirit propelling the industry forward.
