A New Chapter in Singapore-Cambodia Business Relations:

The Cambodia Singapore Business Forum 2024 has successfully concluded, marking a significant milestone in the journey of economic cooperation between two dynamic nations. Hosted by the proactive Singapore Business Federation alongside the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia and the Singapore Alumni Association of Cambodia. This year’s forum was a testament to the untapped potential and growing rapport between both countries.

Prime Ministerial Address Spotlights Growth Opportunities

The Cambodia Singapore Business Forum was notably enhanced by the presence and insightful address of H.E. Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. During his keynote, Prime Minister Hun Manet shone a spotlight on the inviting business landscape of Cambodia, highlighting the vast opportunities awaiting investors, particularly in sectors such as fintech, innovation, digital technology, green energy, and agro-industry.

Celebrating 60 Years of Diplomatic Excellence

The forum also served as a reminder of the 60-year diplomatic journey between Singapore and Cambodia, with both nations looking forward to another decade of enriched cooperation and shared successes. The commitment to advance this relationship was underscored by the exchange of a memorandum of understanding between the business chambers, witnessed by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Singapore’s Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, Dr. Tan See Leng.

Embracing a Green Economy

Dr. Tan also acknowledged the importance of embracing a green economy and the collaborative initiatives on energy and sustainability. This direction not only meets the global calls for responsible growth but also opens doors for mutual prosperity and reinforces the commitment toward a lasting partnership between Singapore and Cambodia.

IFBA President Hai Poh Cheong remarked, “It was an honor to participate in the Singapore Cambodia Business Forum 2024. The Future: Prosperous and Collaborative

In conclusion, the forum was not just a meeting of minds but a celebration of future possibilities. As the President of IFBA, Mr Cheong aptly notes, “It is a privilege to congratulate the Singapore Business Federation and the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, and the Singapore Alumni Association of Cambodia for their unyielding efforts and outstanding success in organizing the forum. Their dedication to forging strong bilateral ties between Singapore and Cambodia is not just commendable but a model for international business cooperation. Here’s to a future where both Cambodia and Singapore reap the benefits of our strengthened ties and shared endeavors.”

As we look forward, let us carry the spirit of collaboration from the Singapore Cambodia Business Forum 2024 into the future. Together, we stand on the brink of a new chapter in our shared history—a chapter filled with promise, prosperity, and mutual success.
